CJ

I remember 6th grade very fondly, largely due to my wonderful teacher Mrs. Betcher.  The year I was in her class, Mrs. Betcher had her first baby.  As you can imagine, the other 6th grade girls and I were over the moon with excitement over this event.  I still remember getting to hold CJ for the first time oh so many years ago.  Lucky for all of you, Mrs. Betcher still had a photo of the occasion and scanned a copy for me.  Also lucky for you, I refuse to be ashamed of my gigantic glasses, stylish bangs, and braces in this photograph.  And so, here it is...(disclaimer: You may want to spend more time looking at the really cute little baby than the awkward looking 6th grade girl...)

 

Approximately 18 years have passed since CJ was born.  (Yes, that makes me feel really, really old...6th grade couldn't have been that long ago!)  I had the distinct honor of taking senior photos of CJ.  He has turned out to be a wonderful and handsome young man who also happens to be a talented harp player as you will observe in these photos.  

Congrats on your senior year, CJ!  Best of luck in the future!

Corbin, Sacia, Charlotte + Family

I took pictures of Corbin, Sacia, and Charlotte -- three adorable cousins -- about a year ago.  This time, we added their parents and grandparents to the mix.  What a great family!  The three kiddos have grown a lot since last year, but continue to be master's of making silly faces.  I was once again thoroughly entertained during this shoot.

Something You Should Know.

I've been keeping a little secret lately and it's time to break the news the World Wide Web.  First, some hints:

• We recently purchased a minivan.  Yes, that's right, a super uncool, bulky, but oh so practical and roomy minivan.  And the worst part?  I love it.
• I have had an unexplained and insatiable craving for French toast on multiple occasions.
• In the past couple of months, I have sometimes felt so tired that I think I may be fall asleep while standing up.  I tend to go to bed not long after Nora (she's 1 1/2) and take naps at the same time she does.
• I made a batch of chocolate chip cookies the other day and didn't eat the raw dough.  This took an incredibly large amount of will power.
• We have summer plans to redo our guest bedroom.
• Nora has learned a new phrase which you can see pictured on her shirt below.  She repeats this phrase often with great enthusiasm.
