My Art Show.

It is finally, FINALLY time for me to announce my art show. I have been working on my master's degree for about 5 years. Not bad considering I got married, moved twice, worked full time during most of it, and had a baby. I'm just about done with my thesis project for which I've spent the last year or so documenting organic farming in my area and writing a gargantuan-sized paper. (Let me know if you want to read it, although it's so huge you probably won't be able to hold it up.)

My show consists of 20 photographs of the people and places I encountered for this project. And, although it was a lot of work, I loved putting it together. I was curious about organic farming before I started taking pictures, and have now learned the joy and dedication behind the long hours these farmers put in during the growing season. Those who are involved in organics are 100% passionate about what they do. I am thrilled that I had the chance to showcase the farms I visited through my pictures and hope that I did justice to the beauty behind the subject.
