July took us on a trip to Grand Forks, North Dakota to visit our friends. And we had so, so much fun. We had the kind of time that makes you wish you could shrink highways to make the drive between you and your dear friends shorter. Heather and Steve showed us the town like only native Grand Forkians can...
Dakota Harvest is a Saturday morning tradition in Grand Forks. French press coffee, croissants, and breakfast sandwiches with bread slices the size of your face...need I say more?
Clearly Nora and her new Grand Forks bestie enjoyed their breakfast out.
We also made a stop at the downtown farmer's market. Yum!
Heather opened her own dental practice about a year and a half ago. We got an official behind the scenes tour and were 100% impressed.
Rooftop pizza at Rhombus Guys. Triple yum!
And of course, Nora and Emily had a pj party. (Note: the headbands these gals are sporting were made by Heather and me during our time together!)
Somewhere amidst all of the activity of the weekend, we squeezed in time for a pedicure:::
And finally, a few updated pictures of the Otte clan::: (I guess we'll count these as Nora's 10 month photo shoot).
