What do Guyana, Backus, Toronto, Moorhead, and San Francisco have in common? Not a whole lot unless you know Chris and Amy. Chris (a native of Guyana whose family now lives in Canada) and Amy (from Backus), met as college students at Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. (GO COBBERS!) Although Chris and Amy are currently residents of the San Francisco area, they got married recently at lovely Breezy Point Resort near Brainerd and I was lucky enough to be their photographer.
Chris and Amy's wedding was the perfect blend of their diverse backgrounds: Guyana and Northern Minnesota. They are one of the nicest couples you'll ever meet and have an seriously fun group of friends and family. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at their wedding...(which is why you're about to see about 2,838 photos from it!)
A great big CONGRATS on your marriage, Chris and Amy. And -- next time I happen to be in Guyana, California, Northern Minnesota or Canada, I'll be sure to look you up.
Chris and Amy both have a lot of friends, so they each had honorary bridesmaids and groomsmen. Can you imagine all of these people trying to fit on the altar during the ceremony??
This photo made me feel a little like I was on an episode of The Bachelorette:
